Max Borman's Writing Portfolio

Teacher of the Century was written for my script writing class that I took Junior year of college. It was originally envisioned as a full length movie, but I have yet to revisit it. The story follows a teacher who is down on his luck. He works a bad job, and wants to get one over on his bitter teaching rival To do that, he decides to bring his kids on a field trip which serves as an introduction to the criminal world.

In the same year that I wrote this, 2020, I submitted the script to the NDSU W-Challenge. Instead of finishing it, I chose to reformat it as a pilot for a TV Show. It was awarded first place in the Drama category that year, which helped cement my new found passion for scripwriting.
